Early in the year, Richie swooped out from his haunts in Connecticut and down to Houston for the debut of "The Michael Bruce Group.  Richie even came up for the encores, Red House Session song "Left For Dead Meat" and classic Bruce/Cooper anthem "School's Out". card-06.jpg (47558 bytes)

Richie was at the  CHILLER THEATRE CONVENTION (run by Tony Sassano) in Secaucus, NJ on Oct 30, 31, and November 1. It went fantastic and you can see pics by clicking here.  Michael, Neal, Dennis, and Richie  signed autographs all weekend, and Michael, Neal and Richie played that Saturday night with Dead Elvi.

In November, Richie and Michael played at the DC Chiller show, this time with a special appearance by Neal Smith on drums. After the Michael Bruce group opened, Richie demolished the joint that Saturday night in a frenzy of Rock and Roll that lasted late into the night. Mark Goddard from the old Lost In Space TV show was there, and Richie and he got along so well Mark ended up on stage with the band!!

Talk about LOST IN SPACE!!!

In December, a series of coincidences brought about an event no one expected at the time, the reunion of ACG members Alice Cooper, Michael Bruce and Neal Smith, together again on the same stage for the first time since 1974 as everyone came to Phoenix to celebrate the opening of Alice's new sports bar "Cooperstown".  Even the legendary Shep Gordon was there !  The night was absolutely surreal as Coopers'town brought forth the music of the ACG.  They boys kicked off with "No More Mr. Nice Guy", then into "Muscle of Love", "Is It My Body", "Desperado" and finally "Billion Dollar Babies".  Not bad for no rehearsals in 23 years!!!!  Click below to see pics from the big event!

NOPE! RICHIE MISSED IT!!!!!!!
